In Pennsylvania

Well, we are in PA and it is snowing!! :) The kids are thrilled and had to go out tonight even though it is freezing outside and they were already in their pj's. I said no at first, but they were standing at the sliding glass door looking longingly outside and I changed my mind. They are only kids once right? And, I know they won't be this excited about snow forever. So we slipped on some shoes, threw on their coats and off they went. When they came back inside soaking wet and shivering, I took them upstairs to change their clothes and Kyle said to me "That was SO fun mom." I am glad I changed my mind. :) They are now happily sitting upstairs, all warm and cozy drinking hot chocolate and making memories.......:)

Happy (belated) Birthday Aimee!!

Aimee, I am just not organized enough to have done this yesterday before we left for PA. :( Sorry. I also had to go on your myspace and steal these pictures! LOL That is why they are so small. We hope you had a great day and had fun with all your friends. Aimee, you will always hold a special place in my heart because of how much time we spent together when you were little. You trained me to keep pacifiers in my purse long before I had children of my own!! :) I have loved watching you grown up and become part of the "big girl club" in the family. Can't wait to see you tomorrow and have lots of hang out time!! We love you, Erin, Jason, Aiden, Kyle and Ryleigh

More of the cousins

Chelly, Allie and Adam have been gone a week, but there were a few more pictures that I have not posted. I know the grandparents, great grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins want to see them and I wouldn't want to disappoint! Allie and Ryleigh got in to my shoes and had fun walking around in them.

Watching a movie.
I love this photo!
Having fun in the back yard.
On a walk.

Aiden keeping the kids entertained.
We thought about keeping them all up on the counter for a few hours, that way the couldn't get into anything else. But we both figured that wasn't very good parenting, so we let them get down. :)
Allie and Ryleigh - partners in crime.
We tried so hard to get a good photo of all of them. But it just wasn't going to happen.

Welcome to our weekend mornings.....

The last month has been awesome with Jason having off every weekend. We love the mornings, when we hang out in our Pj's and drink coffee, listen to music, play with the kids, watch the kids play and just let everything go for a few hours. Here is a peek! :)

If I go into the bathroom, they follow.....
This is Ryleigh's new "cheese" face
Always getting into trouble....

Kyle and his castle

And here is Ryleigh showing off her moves, the boys join in too at the end...... Jason shot this and I am not sure why he moves the camera so much, so you can blame him if you feel a bit sick as you watch this. Maybe he was dancing too? :)

Not me!

Ryleigh, so far, is my worst child for writing all over things. With crayons and pens that is, Aiden trumped them all so far when he painted our bedroom walls with my makeup one day when he was 2, but Ryleigh is having a hard time learning to write only on paper and coloring books. Maybe it is because the boys get out the crayons, pencils and pens and leave them laying around. Maybe it is because I can't keep up with the third one as well as I did with the first two. But, whatever the reason, our furniture is paying the price. As you will see from this video, our sunroom table took quite a hit the other day. The next day it was our old antique ice box, the next the hallway walls......

See that twinkle? She is full of trouble and covers it up with that little smile!

Two Firefighters, A Monkey and A Pirate!

As if 5 kids, five years old and under in one house isn't crazy enough, we added daily sugar highs! It has really made for a nice calm couple of days......

Here is Aiden in his classroom, all dressed up. I went in to take pictures of all the kids in their costumes.
Here is his classroom. God bless kindergarten teachers. Getting ready to go trick or treating down our street. Kyle was mad about something, Ryleigh was screaming and Aiden was excited. Jason and I have forced smiles on our face, cause' at this moment we weren't all that happy. lol
Ryleigh wouldn't stand still for us to get a picture of her in her monkey suit (very appropriate since she climbs everything), so I had to hold her, and of course she would not look at the camera. You can't see it, but the costume has a cute little tail and a banana sticking out the back.Firefighter # 1.
Firefighter #2 (you should be proud Uncle Jeff and Matt!)

It took a lot of work to get everyone in one spot. Even more to get them to stay in one spot.

Yeah! They are all looking (almost) at the camera. Actually they are looking at me jumping up and down making crazy noises. We should have taken a picture of that! :)
On Monday night Jason and I went downtown to take a walking Ghost tour. It was a lot of fun. Our town is very historical and has a lot of crazy old stories.

I think I caught a ghost on camera!! I should submit this to Ghost Hunters. Maybe Jason and Grant would come to our town. lol (for all you gullible people out there, it is just some old guy dressed up in a Civil War costume that walked right by us and scared me - just a little bit!)

Still have lots of cousin pictures to post, but it is just a bit crazy here. We will put them up though, we promise! We have been getting a lot of concerned phone calls and texts on the lack of updates. :)

Just the girls (and Adam)

On Friday I pulled out of our driveway as Jason stood there with all three kids with a look of total fright and abandonment. You see, he was nice (and brave) enough to let me go visit Chelly, Allie and Adam for the weekend while he stayed home with the kids. I will leave him to tell the stories of their weekend (I heard rumors of snakes, batman soup, no electricity and sleepless nights, but that is for another blog), here are some pictures from our weekend.I think Allie likes me. Not sure about Adam, he just slept or cried when I held him. :) He is a cutie (so is Allie!)!!

We went shopping on Saturday and even though we had two little kids, it was fun. That night we made chicken fajitas with homemade tortillas. Allie had a blast helping roll them out.

The pictures of the food are for mom, she taught us well! :)Adam was no help at all with the dinner preparations.
After dinner we laid on the couch and read, watched the Penn State game and folded laundry. Wild weekend, huh?
Right before we left to head south. Since Chris is away, Chelly and kids were my ride home (I drove down with another friend who was visiting someone in NC too). They are staying with us until we both can't handle all the kids in one house any longer! :) Our trip home was filled with singing "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" more times than I can count. Allie always noticed when I stopped singing. Then she would yell "Sing! Annt Errn! Sing!" I also developed great new arm muscles from jiggling Adam's car seat to keep him happy.

We have taken lots of cousin pictures, so stay tuned!!
